Step-by-step walkthrough for entering your scores

About This Guide

This guide walks you through entering your individual scores using the Player Scorecard app. The app is designed for shotgun start formats where players begin at different sets and rotate through the course.

Login with Your PIN
Access the scorecard entry system

To begin entering your scores:

  1. Select your Team from the dropdown
  2. Select your Name from the player list
  3. Enter your personal PIN
  4. Tap Login
💡 Pro Tip
Don't know your PIN? Contact your league administrator to get your unique PIN code.

Select Your Starting Set
For shotgun start format
Select starting set

After logging in, select the set where you're physically starting:

  1. Review the available set numbers
  2. Tap the set number where you're starting
  3. The app will track your scores in rotation order
💡 Shotgun Start
If you start at Set 5 with 10 total sets, you'll score Sets 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 1, 2, 3, 4 in that order.

Enter Target Scores
Score each target in the set
Score entry screen

The score entry screen is designed for quick, one-handed use:

  • Target Boxes: Shows each target (Short, Medium, Long)
  • Score Keypad: Tap to enter valid scores (0, 5, 8, 10, 12)
  • Set Total: Running total for the current set

To enter a score:

  1. The active target is highlighted with a green border
  2. Tap a score on the keypad
  3. The cursor automatically moves to the next target
  4. When all targets have scores, tap Submit Set

Made a mistake? Tap the target box you want to change, then tap the correct score.

Navigate Between Sets
Move freely between any set
Set navigation

The set navigation row at the top shows all your sets:

  • Green circle: Set completed with scores
  • Yellow circle: Current set being entered
  • White circle: Set not yet scored

To edit any set:

  1. Tap the set number you want to edit
  2. Make your changes
  3. Submit to save
⚠️ Before Final Submission
You can freely move between sets and edit scores until you submit your final scorecard.

Review Your Scorecard
Verify all scores before submitting
Scorecard summary

After completing all sets, review your scorecard summary:

  • Complete grid showing all sets and target scores
  • Running total for each set
  • Overall total score at the bottom

To make changes:

  1. Tap any row in the summary
  2. Edit the scores for that set
  3. Submit to save changes

Submit Your Scorecard
Finalize your scores

When all sets are complete and you've verified your scores:

  1. Review your total score one last time
  2. Tap Submit Scorecard
  3. Confirm the submission

⚠️ Cannot Undo
Once submitted, your scorecard cannot be modified. Only a league administrator can make changes after submission.

Your scores are now recorded. Check the league reports to see your scores alongside other players.

Install as an App
Add to your home screen

For the best experience, install the Scorecard app on your device:

On iPhone/iPad:
  1. Open Safari and navigate to the Scorecard page
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow)
  3. Scroll and tap Add to Home Screen
  4. Tap Add to confirm
On Android:
  1. Open Chrome and navigate to the Scorecard page
  2. Tap the three dots menu
  3. Tap Add to Home screen
  4. Tap Add to confirm
